With nearly 13 million people, Rwanda is the most densely populated country in Africa. After the Rwandan Genocide in 1994, roughly 80% of the population - primarily women - were left under the poverty line. The Women’s Bakery and Ubushobozi are just two of the organizations that have joined the effort to create access to gainful employment, education, and health resources for women in Rwanda.
